When my little girl was a flower girl for my brother and sister in law (looky here) they thought it wise not to give her flowers (best decision ever!) They would of been pulled apart before she even got down the aisle (If she had bothered walking down the aisle in the first place-remember that 14month old little girls are very opinionated!) This experience and knowing that Tayla will be (hopefully) making her way down the aisle again in July made me think about some other ideas than flowers for your little ones to carry.

Pictures of Love

So having engagement pictures done is totally normal, but I totally want to have new ones done (with the same man of course) but just like a few years on... what are your thoughts is that ok or just a bit cheese? Like do all the family pictures we have done now HAVE to include or 4 of us or can we just get some nice ones of me and the mr as well? Anyway while contemplating my dilemma I have been looking at some GORGEOUS couple shoots (yes I have decided this is what engagement photos for married people should be called- I am sure someone else thought of this but hey my blog I take full credit for it!) So anyway here are some of the dreamy photos I have found!- Now I just have to convince Mr Happily Ever After to agree to getting them done! Any ideas on 1. how to convince him & 2. any other great poses???

It has been a LONNNGGG weekend - Tayla has been hyped up on sugar for the past 5 days what with her birthday and easter and I think today we are all (yes I was also hyped up on WAY too much chocolate) on a serious downer and I ust want to sleep, so I found some wedding funnies to cheer up the start of another week :)

April Showers bring Rainbow Parties!

 Ok so I have been a pretty poor excuse of a blogger throughout March (yeah most of my posts have been filled with excuses!) BUT I am hoping for April to be a healthier month which will not cause me to want to collapse into bed at the end of each day with little or no regard to sharing wedding tips and details with you all!

My baby girl turned 2 yesterday (yes I know not so much a baby- it was a rough day for me!) and is having a Rainbow party tomorrow so I have been filling my time planning Rainbow themed goodness for that ( have I mentioned I LOVE Pinterest?) I mean what is a more appropriate theme right now with the crazy weather going from sun to rain in mere seconds? (I am secretly hoping for a real rainbow at the exact time of her party!- If only I could plan it THAT well!)   So anyway I thought I would share some colourful ideas to suit a Rainbow wedding!

Save the Date...

Yes I know I am like FULL of excuses but once again our internet has been SHOCKING but fortunately Virgin finally told us some handy tips (yeah basically we had the router in the completely wrong place so we were lucky it worked AT all!) But yes while I have been internetless (apparently its not a word but hey go with it!) I have been thinking up some great ideas for the blog and hopefully they will be some ideas that will help inspire you!
Ok, so when I said I was internetless I did have my phone so was still able to spend time on my latest addiction Pinterest.... I actually do not know what I did before pinterest... it is A-MAZING! But anywho.... I saw some brilliant idea for save the dates and thought I would share them with you guys, these seem to be catching on over here in the UK & I have received 2 so far this year, anyway here are some of my favourites! (I actually had to really limit the number I put on here.... yes there are like 17 but that was my short list!!) I totally wish I had done save the dates (although kinda pointless when we were only engaged for 5months!)
